Have you ever wondered how to tap into the very best you can be? Have you ever thought to yourself how can I just turn myself onto awesome mode? As a result of asking myself these questions, I have come up with a great method and exercise for putting yourself on awesome mode.
What is yourself on awesome mode?
Take a couple of deep breaths, just relax, now think of yourself during a time you were having a day when everything just went awesome. How did you feel on that day? What sort of thoughts were you thinking? How did you respond to people and situations? What sort of attitude did you have? Use the answer to these questions as a starting point to start creating your own awesome mode.
You can create the concept of yourself on awesome mode however you would like. For example, picture yourself possessing every quality you ever needed or wanted. As an example, I will list a few here; patience, strength, courage, stillness, humour, humility, contentedness, wit, intelligence, perseverance, compassion, presence, connectedness, mindfulness. I encourage you to write your own list and contemplate and mentally rehearse possessing the feeling of each of these qualities from your own list.
Self Hypnosis
As a result of creating this list and contemplating yourself possessing these qualities, you may find yourself feeling stoked about
it. So, let’s take another step. Let’s do a little self Hypnosis. It’s as simple as taking a few deep breaths counting backwards from 10 down to one and relaxing down deeper and deeper as you do so. Now that you’re chilled out and tranced down a little, try to really get into the feeling place your self on awesome mode. Imagine yourself going through your day with yourself on awesome mode. Conjure up situations people and circumstances you’re likely to encounter. Then imagine yourself on awesome mode. How would it feel? would you speak differently? Hear the sounds, Feel the feelings of yourself in this state. Imagine the results that you’d like to see, hear, and experience.
Anchor yourself to awesome
There is a term in Hypnosis called anchoring. Furthermore, anchoring is about attaching state of mind and being to an event or outer stimulus. Consequently, we can use this to our advantage. Hence the idea is to imagine 3 to 4 events or outer stimulus you will encounter in your day. Then Imagine yourself being triggered into awesome mode every time those events or outer stimuli occur.
As an example, you could imagine every time you check what time it is being triggered into the awesome mode. Or when you’re about to get angry you’re triggered to yourself on awesome mode. After anchoring the state of being of yourself on awesome mode to these triggers come back out of your trance/meditation. Simply count back up from one through 10 telling yourself to wake up feeling awesome as you do.
Remember this is about you and your state of being. Yourself on awesome mode is all about your state of being. As a result of this state of being you don’t get hung up on shit. Yourself on awesome mode goes with the flow. Your self on awesome mode knows that everything that is happening is happening the way it should be, or it wouldn’t. Thus learning from what is presenting itself. At least my self on awesome mode does. Ha lol. How about yourself on awesome mode what’s it like?
Yourself on Awesome mode has the presence to see that and the humour to play with this concept.
As I write this it occurs to me, I could’ve been using this
technique a few days ago. Due to the fact I had been having an off day.

- Make this meditation/self-hypnosis a habit. If you do something every day for thirty days you are well on your way to creating a new habit.
- Do your personal work and reap the reward.
- Too often we get busy doing busy work and forget to do the
most important work which is on ourselves. - Do believe in yourself and yourself on awesome mode. Like
anything it takes practice. - Have fun with this- Life is best when played like a game. You are your own game piece, so, make yourself awesome.
- Yourself an awesome mode also accepts when things aren’t awesome.
